About the session:

Sarah needs a LOT of photos for her digital marketing agency S² Social Studio because she posts frequently on social media, sends a weekly newsletter and has a robust website. Her services include social media management, web design, branding and email marketing. She is a digital marketer who truly leads by example, creating targeted, helpful content supported with strong, aligned visual branding. (Check out her Instagram to see what I mean!)

This was my third time photographing Sarah and we spent 5 hours together between our time at Creative Co. Studio and Northern Vessel coffee shop - and that time absolutely FLEW by. We had a robust shoot plan and timeline to help us capture her desired photos, while also providing time to set up each scene and allowing for inspiration in the moment.

I love working with repeat clients because we can just jump in where we left off, continuing to grow and evolve the library of brand images we’ve already created together. And each time my repeat clients return they are more confident in front of the camera, which shows in their photos.

For this brand session, in addition to shooting similar photos to what has been useful to Sarah in the past, we loved trying new things such as incorporating the bed, the full body personality shots on the couch and creating images with more “white space” where Sarah can easily add text later.
